Good Evening Ladies,
Just want to let you know that this Jewish mom with conservative values from Long Island,NY is your "Sister for Sarah." Keep getting the message out and people will hear.

15 governors have been president, 16 senators have been president. Both are qualifying offices.
However, Sarah Palin took 5 years and 5 college transfers to get a bachelor degree in journalism, a degree hardly relevant to being a world leader. Her resume does not qualify her for MOST moderately powerful jobs in this country.
Moreover, the fact that she doesn't speak intelligently...she says 'em instead of them, goin' instead of going, ya instead of you, nucular instead of nuclear, etc. supports the lack of intellect it takes for a high position like VP. If someone is going to be on the world stage representing this country, they have to sound more intelligent than that.
Similarly, it concerns me that the state she has governed is smaller in population than the city of Detroit.
It is reported that her college gpa was only 2.0. If that's the case, it says one of two things about her: either she is smarter than that but lazy, unfocused and undisciplined and didn't study, or she is disciplined, studied hard but is stupid.
Let's look at this experience issue up close. Yes, she a governor of an American state. However, Alaska is so sparsely populated, no presidential candidate has EVER campaigned there. The total population, if in one city, would rank as a small to moderate sized city. Because the majority of Northern Alaskans live on ice floes, and do not speak English, the actual voting population is very small. Elections are won in Alaska by hundreds of votes, not hundreds of thousands. Experienced? About as much as a new mayor in Columbus, Ohio.
Do we really think that her striving for "Joe Sixpack" mediocrity is what we all stand for? Good grief, I hope not.
I dare the moderator to leave this up.
The issue of you has governed and how many people is not the point. Although if you consider the information in the viedo the staff of pepole the are working for Obama are supporters that believe in his ideas and cause. In addition the people working for Obama would have most likely done the work on a volunteer basis. That is commendable signficance Obama has shown.
As an american woman I view Sarah is a good example of what woman can accomplish in this country. Still if fact my measure of Sarah is she can not hold a candle to Hillary Clinton on any level. This will be good experience for Sarah but she is prepared to do the job this country needs done. Sara Palin was just as surprised as the country was to be pick for VP. She would have been more creditable if she stated out campaining with Mccain as Lieberman did. I can buy into her so late in the election this is a serious time in the country. Save the joe 6pack drinking think for the hockey arena. What happened to being a christian woman.
Sorry moms but moms in this neighborhood are voting for Obama.
I am a Republican, and when I first saw Sarah Palin on Glenn Beck, I thought she was the real deal, especially when I heard she was sueing the Federal Government, to DRILL...
Then I started reading about her, the city of Wasilia owes $20 Million for her Hockey Rink, the 2 bridges to nowhere costing American taxpayers $230 Million, the rape kits that assault victims in Wasilia had to pay for. Also mention of her doing special favors for relatives and friends.
I believe she needs to answer these and other questions or else I am voting for Bob Barr...

Gosh! I'm so glad I heard about this blog, saw you guys on CNN. As a born again Christian (as all Christians, of course, are)I too want to fellowship with persons of like minds and hearts. The problem is, I've been a Christian a long, long time. Long enough to know that Christ would never bash or prejudge people. That Christ loves us as Christians no matter what our color, or our middle names. That when He told us to love our enemies, He didn't want us to kill them. That He, as we should be, is tolerant, loving, and kind. On another note, as a thinking Christian mom, I certainly do want someone who is not, Susie hockey mom" or "Joe six pack" in the White House. I want someone who is not a regular guy, or gal, in there. I don't want someone who graduated third from the bottom of his class at Annapolis ( and crashed five jets--it isn't patriotic to crash jets) in a class of more than 450, as President. I am a Christian mom. I have Christian values. My Lord has taught me many things. One of them, "Judge not, lest ye be judged." guides me daily. Tolerance is my motto, grace, my watchword.
Ladies, your tongues are a powerful weapon. Think. What would Jesus really do? Would he put a woman who drags her children all over the country, and keeps them out LATE at night, a woman who is vicious with her tongue and bashes others, a woman who belongs to a party whose interest is far from caring for the least of these, your brethern, in a leadership position? Ladies, you are wrong. A true Christian is humble, unjudging, and has a servants heart. To the least of these, your breathern.
If Sarah Palin's intellect was as large as her ego, perhaps she would be qualified to be Vice President. For those moms who say, "She's like me..." really, do you feel that you could be President of the United States?
I would like to be a singer but I can't carry a tune. One sign of intelligence is knowing what you can do. This does not mean that a person should not have aspirations, just that they should be in touch with reality.
God the Father,sacrificed his only son for the sins of the world. May you all be blessed with God's judgement, a sacrifice he might deem appropiate for your children, as a result of using his son's name "Jesus" as a evil & sinful justification for the support of Sarah Palin!

I would like to see the Honorable Alan Keyes working along with Sarah Palin working towards getting back to the constitution as it was meant to be ...
Alan is being shut out and he is what so many are Americans are seeking but the air wave seem to be afraid to let him be hard, to the point of someone so afraid as to having him arrested for trying to be part of a important panel debate on views.
Alan is a great constitutionalist and "absolute" in all his Constitution, Christian beliefs, beliefs that can not be swayed by anyone and yet so many younger people out there no nothing about him. He is in the run for president too, but maybe, just maybe ... He if he would return to the Republican Party (which he just left this summer due to seeing his party falling) and be as he once was, for President Reagan, "Ambassador" a man representing our country, a man President Ronald Reagan call one of America's staunchest defenders ... Maybe just maybe things could get back to normal for America and it would once again become home of the free and home of the brave! I'm not weighing in on any particular category or comment.
I'm weighing in on the plethora of hypocrisy I see in your support of Sarah Palin because she "shares your values."
1. Sarah Palin has shown no shame in parading her pregnant, unmarried teenage daughter around in front of millions of people.
When did this become something to be proud of? When did this become a Christian virtue? The Bible does not condone fornication. I don't care how you try to wrap it up and put a bow on it. The McCain organization tries to wrap this mess up by stating the girl is marrying the baby's father. What a neat package.
Now, consider this: Flip the coin, switch, table - whatever - and tell me please what your Evangelical moms would have been saying if it was Barack & Michelle Obama's unmarried teenage daughter?
Let me answer for you because your thinking is not steeped in reality. You would have called her all manner of evil and you and the McCain camp would have insinuated that this is the standard for Black girls and you would have demanded that he pull out of the race. Now we see that ALL teenagers, regardless of race, have propensity to engage in sexual activity. Their hormones are raging for goodness sakes!
Sarah Palin needs to go back to Alaska and tend to a few things:
1. Seeing to the pregnant girl and her soon-to-be grandchild.
2. Making sure she is teaching sex education to the other teenage daughter and that she has plans to teach sex education to the little girl.
3. Get her name cleared in Troopergate.
Okay, moving on to the second reason I have such disdain for your support of Sarah Palin:
2. Due to the fact that the McCain campaign is in trouble, Palin has been given the job inciting people to spew racist, threatening comments toward Barack Obama just because he is Black. All of these attacks have nothing to do with his "funny" name, etc. It has to do with the color of his skin.
So, you Evangelical moms support racism? Okayyy. I wonder what would Jesus have to say about that. Hmmmm. Do a little historical research and Lawdy, hold on to your hat Evangelical moms for Sarah Palin. Jesus was not Anglo Saxon (White). Quite the contrary. Do a little research on the skin color and texture of hair of people from Jesus' part of the world. Don't take my word for it. In fact, why don't you make this research a part of your next bible study or prayer circle?
Finally, as a woman, you make me sick to my stomach. Quit trying to form your identity and strength through another woman. Be your own woman and draw your strength and identify as daughters of God.
I have been so excited about Sarah Palin and we are about to be very disappointed over the reality of Troopergate and Sarah's behavior and choices while Governor of Alaska. Sarah is not what we thought she was or hoped her to be. She abused her power in many ways. She has behaved like too many politicians. I find it hard to accpet she is a Christian like we know good Christians to be. May God continue to bless her.

Have you heard Sarah spout lies about Bill Ayers (Obama was eight at the time) and almost incite a riot? I lived through the Civil Right's Movement and Vietnam. It was not a good time to be a child. I remember the Cuban Missile Crisis and I remember the days JFK, Bobby Kennedy, and Martin Kuther King were assassinated. It was a tragic time in our history.
When Sarah and McCain stand silently while people from the audience shout "Traitor, "kill him"
and do nothing and say nothing to stop it; it is despicable! Silence is consent. I blog on Greta Live Wire and some of the bloggers have said that they "should do a JFK" on Obama. As mothers, can you support a candidate that by her actions, would actually condone killing Obama and leaving his two beautiful children, orphans? This is not far fetched. There are a lot of nuts out there who really do not need any encouragement. The right and honorable thing would be for McCain and Sarah to loudly and consistently condemn these dangerous, verbal assaults which are increasing in frequency.
How would you feel, if that was your husband? Even if you don't agree, think about your children. The assissinations I lived through have left a terrible scar on my childhood. Do you want the same for your children? Stand together as Americans and say ,"We will not tolerate these actions."
We are in a crisis similar to 911. At that time, we were not Republicans or Democrats, we were Americans. We need to honor our great heritage and have some worthy to hand down to our children. Everyone can make a difference. Get involved and if you have any contact with sarah, give her this message.

American International Group Inc. spent US$440,000 on a conference at a California resort less than a week after an US$85-billion government takeover, lawmakers said.

I believe that she left more ?'s unanswered during the debate than Biden, i.e. what she felt her Achilles tendon was, as VP how would she shrink the gap of polarization, what promises have you and your campaigns made to the American people that you're not going to be able to keep, the list goes on & on. Her answer to what a VP does should have sent up a red flag to everyone. Another Cheney would be a catastrophe beyond proportions of anything this country has seen since 9/11. Polls also highlighted her rudeness to Biden, "Say it isn't (OOPS, ain't) so, Joe, there you go again pointing backwards again." She'd better say the same to McCain, he talks about the past far more than Biden. Aside from the debate, she has so many times stated that Obama is raising taxes even after both he & Biden have explained their platform that it will only be on those making over $250,000 & this has been shown again & again by independent fact checkers who have also show that McCain will raise taxes on the lower/middle class. This leads me to believe she is deaf, not listening or simply determined to continue to try to mislead by repeating again & again half truths & lies. Same goes for her statements about Obama voting against funding the war in Iraq, so did JOHN MCCAIN, for different reasons but still against! And Cindy did a terrible disservice to this nation & its people by saying the same, that Obama voted against the funding which endangered HER (not their?) son & did not mention that her husband voted against it too. Be open-minded enough to check this out on google. Also I am so turned off by her for her stand on shooting wolves from planes & wanting the polar bear taken off the endangered species list that there are no words to even begin to express my horror. Such actions will upset the balance of nature & do irreparable damage to the environment. And I cannot in any way agree that it is a positive thing how the situation was handled w/her pregnant daughter. For one thing, such a dangerous thing to not have used some type of birth control due to the prevalence of STD/HIV! Sadly, many young girls get pregnant these days but far worse than an unwanted pregnancy is the risk of contracting/spreading these diseases. And I am so saddened that a 17 yr. old girl has the blessings of her parents to marry this questionable young man who used the F-word many times on "My Space". I would not want my young daughter to marry him, what a terrible tragedy! The worse thing to me tho' is how she drives the audience to a frenzy at her appearances to the point that they are yelling "Terrorist, Kill him" & shouting racial slurs and obscenities at the camera crew. This is unpatriotic, dangerous behavior on her part! Stirring up such hatred could result in mob violence & worse. Sounds like a KKK or Nazi rally than a Christian Evangelical, born-again candidate for VP speaking. Totally irresponsible. She doesn't want another Holocaust? She's on her way to starting violent riots against the black citizens who were noticeably absent at the RNC. Please, someone, gag her till Nov. 4th before someone is killed. We don't want to see history repeat itself as it did w/the assassination of Bobby Kennedy.

Everything about Sarah Palin is a facade; a show, if you will. She's very good at being a leader figure, but not very good at leading. She makes irrational and uneducated decisions, and her past is proof of that. Her decision to build 2 "bridges to nowhere" cost the American taxpayers over $230 MILLION dollars, and then lied and said she rallied against it. And as another user below pointed out, she spent $20 MILLION dollars on a hockey rink... Spending like that is absolutely ridiculous and should not be overlooked. And don't even get me started on the whole Troopergate scandal. Talk about an abuse of power. If she'll abuse her power to help out a family member like that, what will she do for special interest groups and lobbyists?
I think the bottom line here is that many women are going to vote for McCain, simply because he has a woman running for VP. Perhaps it is these women who should grow up and start thinking about what's best for THIS COUNTRY and not just voting for another woman.
This is one hockey mom who will be voting for Obama.
Interestingly, this whole Sarah Palin thing has turned into a bit of a circus as far as I'm concerned. Focus should be on the issues, not pit bulls and lipstick.
I consider myself an Independent. I try to judge a candidate based on how closely our views align on issues I feel are important. I've never understood the blind faith folks on either side demonstrate, Democrat or Republican, when they vote soley along party lines. Issues today are too complex. No single party has cornered the market on good ideas or solutions. What we need more than ever is a government that sees the two parties work together to solve problems. The seemly constant personal attacks and character questions really distract us from what really matters during an election; what are a candidate's plans (in detail please!) to move our country forward?
Sarah Palin is an engaging personality. She's certainly not your prototypical politician. That's refreshing. With that said, she has not demonstrated to me that she has a very deep knowledge of the issues. She may be a likeable hockey mom, but I want a bit more from my Vice President.

My role, before kids, had me designing, implimenting, and leading the Customer Service Department of a nationwide corporation. Since many of it's clientelle lie over the ponds, I was able to enjoy extensive international travel and loved it.
When God blessed us with our first born, I recorgnized her as a gift and unwilling to give her away to be raised by someone else (daycare, babysitters, nanny, grandma) so I chose to leave my career behind me and be a real mom. Heart and soul. I sold my suits, my leather shoes and briefcase, my corvette, some jewelary, and our home to move into a 1400 square foot cottage. My husband who is a praying man worked out ways to support us and through our decision, we became far richer than we ever imagined one could be.
The aformentioned experiences have given me the wisdom and knowledge to know that there is really only
one ticket that should become our next President and VP and their names are OBAMA/BIDEN!!!
It bewilders me to see a website like this built with such ignorance. Do you not see the difference between a team who preaches war (bomb, bomb, bomb Iran-is this a dispicable joke?)and "the other" who preaches peace and negotiations. A team who is hot headed and erratic and the other who is calm and cool under fire. A team who rallies prejudice, judgement, and violence to the other who rallies for problem solving and proposes real solutions. A team who lies to avoid the issues that they know nothing about, and those who are intelligent and clear and real.

She's hitting the campaign trail while leaving them in the dust to meet Joe six pack. Did you not see her uncomfortable grasp of her SPECIAL NEEDS SON while she paraded him around the debate stage at 11pm!Then she gave him back to her PREGNANT TEENAGE DAUGHTER to care for him?! Who's special needs is she fulfilling? Any other mom would be dealing with Child Services. Don't even get me started on being a good steward and following the laws of our land. You do READ your bibles, doncha sisters?

The fact is that Senator McSenile chose a cross between the animated Betty Boop and Lucifer, to VP our country! She's a self centered, master of confusion, winkin liar so please take the telephone pole out of your eyes before you visit the booths and be real Christian moms.
P.S I don't condone abortions but like God, I belive in freedom of choice. Maybe if their were more parents parenting, we'd see kids making less bad choices. Get that?
Paulette,the Jewish mom with conservative values....Are your conservative values the same as Sarah Palin's? Is neglecting your family for political gains a conservative value? Shouldn't family first be one of the values?
