For those of you that missed it in the last post, we are not the ladies with the Bible study group that were on CNN the other night. Please quit leaving comments to that affect. We are women who are doing our research and supporting our choice for president and vice-president.
Neither of us are promoting our Christianity. We believe that everyone should follow their own beliefs. We are strong believers in family and in personal responsibility.
On a side note, all of you that have an issue with the whole "soccer mom" thing need to take a good look at what that means. The average "soccer mom" has no more that 2-3 kids. They are in charge of their families finances, their health, their emotional well-being, the cleanliness of their home, scheduling, travel planning, and more. Quite a few of them are college educated and have left high paying executive jobs in order to stay home with their children. So this whole- barefoot and pregnant, living out in the sticks, and didn't finish high school- image that some of you seem to have about "soccer moms" is way off base.
Also, for those that think we are mindless women who do only what we're told by our husbands, you have it completely backwards. We control our lives, our husbands simply bring us their paycheck. Some of you have been watching way too much Jerry Springer.

Keep on invoking the name of 'JESUS' to represent your support for Palin, it will give him a better chance to judge you and your children, & your family values on your salvation day.

Bi Partisan Alaska Lawmakers Find Palin Abused Power : NEW YORK (CBS) ― A legislative committee investigating Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has found she unlawfully abused her authority in firing the state's public safety commissioner.
The investigative report concludes that a family grudge wasn't the sole reason for firing Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan but says it likely was a contributing factor.

And, what if this was Joe Biden or Barack Obama ? Fair Reporting?

The Palins’ un-American activities
Imagine if the Obamas had hooked up with a violently anti-American group in league with the government of Iran.

Meet Sarah Palin's Terrorist/Radical Right-Wing Pals
A MUST READ, CLICK HERE: www(dot)salon(dot)com/news/feature/2008/10/10/palin_chryson
51-year-old Mark Chryson. Chairman of the Alaska Independence Party. Mr. Chryson wishes to and work for Alaska to secede from the United States. Palin backed Chryson as he successfully advanced &altered the state Constitution’s language to better facilitate the formation of anti-government militias. With sponsorship from the Islamic Republic of Iran, they were scheduled to present a case for Alaskan secession before the United Nations General Assembly in the late spring of 1993. They rub shoulders and forge alliances with outright white supremacists and far-right theocrats, particularly those who dominate the proceedings at such gatherings as the North American Secessionist conventions, which AIP delegates have attended in recent years.
Chryson/Palin rhetorically. “Yes. The War of Northern Aggression, or the Civil War, or the War Between the States — however you want to refer to it — was not about slavery, it was about states’ rights.” Palin was well aware of Chryson’s views. “She knew my beliefs,” Chryson said. “The entire state knew my beliefs. I wasn’t afraid of being on the news, on camera speaking my views.” Palin endorsed Chryson’s unsuccessful initiative to move the state Legislature from Juneau to Wasilla. At a national convention of secessionist groups in 2007, AIP vice chairman Dexter Carter announced that his party would seek to “infiltrate” the Democratic and Republican parties with candidates sympathetic to its hard-right, secessionist agenda. The AIP was born of the vision of “Old Joe” Vogler, a hard-bitten former gold miner who hated the government of the United States almost as much as he hated wolves and environmentalists. His resentment peaked during the early 1970s when the federal government began installing Alaska’s oil and gas pipeline. Fueled by raw rage — “The United States has made a colony of Alaska,” Vogler proposed using nuclear weapons to obliterate the glaciers blocking roadways to Juneau.

Please see my new blog, christiansagainstsarahpalin
Many women support Governor Palin siting they can identify with her as a working mom... "She's just like me!" Those are not the credentials of the VP! Can you trust yourself with the lives of millions of Americans and lead us out of a global economic rut? I don't think so. You're not expected to rein in rogue governments like North Korea and Iran as a mom. I can't imagine her ridiculous winks and 'Joe 6-pack' comments in the global media. I want the smartest person qualified for the leadership of this country... not someone 'just like me!'
I think you are doing a great job with this blog. Keep up the good work and in the end, we will celebrate victory!
Have a great weekend!!!
I have a site moms4palin.blogspot.com and I couldn't figure out why my stats spike 1000 x and had all these nasty comments on there. I'm amazed at how nasty the other side is. I"m leaving all the nasty comments up to show WHO they are really are.
Why do people post in such a negative way, calling names, being vulgar and nasty on a blog that is obviously not promoting their beliefs? Are you trying to convince the readers of this blog to come over to 'your side'. No thanks, I would rather not be associated with a group of individuals that spend their time doing nothing but trying to anger anyone that disagrees with them. Instead, maybe you should go support your candidate and respect the fact that we should be allowed to support ours without being ridiculed and mocked. You will never find me on a pro-Obama or pro-Biden blog posting such hateful messages.
Lets all try to be respectful of each other's opinions.
It doesn't matter wether you are the group on CNN or not. All the things you mentioned about being educated stay-at-home moms are right on point, so why didn't Palin tell McCain, "sorry Mr. McCain, not at this time, FAMILY FIRST!! I've been a stay-at-home mom for over 14 years and I'm dead tired at the end of the day. I would never allow McCain or any other politician to pull me away from my precious family for their political gain. They don't give a rats a-- about her responsibilities as a mother. She is self serving. I would have had so much more respect for her had she stood up to McCain and said, not at this time . I bet Cindy McCain was home with her children when they were young. Now just stop for a minute...imagined your day as a stay-at-home mom, you know exactly how difficult and tiring it is at the end of the day. Now think of Palin and what her responsiblities will be if the GOP wins the election. Who's going to suffer? HER CHILDREN!! At least as Gov of Alaska she had her friends and family to help care for the children. Is she planning to take the whole group of them to the White House to help care for the kids. Well I guess you Palin supporters will pay for it. I pray for her children and perhaps when you all settled down for the night, you can do the same.
To Shelly
In the second paragragh of your post you said you all are "strong believers in family and in personal responsiblity." Then how on earth can you support Sarah Palin for neglecting hers. I've been a soccer/stay-at-home mom for 14 years with all the responsibilities you mentioned, that's all the more reason why she should have told McCain, "not at this time" It's great that she's Gov of Alaska, where she has the support of her family and friends to help care for the children. It's not about the GOP or the Dems, it's about taking care of family first!! McCain could have chosen a VP from a list of Republican women. Shame on him and the GOP. It's all about control and wealth for them. What a sad situation.
