Obama promises that 95% of Americans are not going to pay taxes. Why? Because he is going to raise taxes on businesses, even small businesses and just in case you didn't know small business in America is any business with 500 or less employees.
So, when John McCain talks about people losing jobs if Obama is elected, it's because businesses will be paying over 50% of profit to the U.S. government.
Think about what small businesses are around your home.
- Car Dealerships - While we think of them as a large corporation, they aren't they are independent small businesses.
- Fast Food Restaurants - Many think of these as a major corporation as well but they are in fact a franchise.
- Medical & Dental - These offices are owned by individuals or a group of doctors or dentists.
- Other Businesses - The list is so long! Just look around while driving to work or the store, look at the office buildings and strip malls.
The list of small businesses in your neighborhood are endless one couldn't begin to name them all. These are the places you might work, your neighbors work, or where your family works. These are the companies Obama will be taking the money from so you don't have to pay but PAY you will.
Why because when Obama's tax plan goes into effect they will stop bonuses, layoff employees, possibly let employees go so, they can hire someone who will work for less. Older workers would be at even more at risk of losing there job to someone younger who would cost the company less.
Then what happens are people are out of work, people have less and less money to spend down at Tom's Garage or KFC, etc. Then these businesses close. Then nobody has money!
We are talking basic economics 101. Obama's plan won't work and if put into effect it will kill jobs and if you think our economy is bad now... you haven't seen anything yet. Obama's tax plan is so bad, Donald Trump, a Hillary Clinton supporter, is endorsing John McCain. I don't know about you but I think "The Donald" knows a little bit about how business and the economy work.
McCain will keep the Bush tax cuts and on top of that if you have children your standard deduction will be raised from $3,500 per child to $7,000 per child!
Let our economy grow! Vote McCain - Palin '08!

Businesses will only pay taxes IF they make $$. Right now that's not happening. Giving more money to the American people (in the form of tax credits or reducing taxes) is just robbing one pocket to pay another. Where do you think those tax cut dollars come from? Us. It's like handing yourself a check drawn on your own bank account. Except right now our bank account is empty and it will be our kids and grand-kids' checking accounts paying the bill.
Anytime any politician starts talking about tax cuts in this current economy, I know they're talking b.s. How much longer can our deficit spending continue? Only as long as the Chinese are willing to lend us the dollars.
This blog has little to no facts in it. I have seen a lot of that from the McCain/Palin Campaign. If you are trying to make a case for Palin, you are having the opposite effect. The least you could is compare and contrast the two candidates’ tax plans. I imagine the reason you did not, is that McCain's tax plan wouldn't look so hot. If want to address the issue of taxes, please include some independent facts. There are plenty of sources. I.E.: National Review, The Non-Partisan Tax Policy Center, etc.
Even reviews ranging from the "Left" to the "Right" realize that your rhetoric is simply not true. i.e.: New York Times, Washington Post, Boston Globe, and THE WALL STREET JOURNAL.
