John McCain Concession Speech

A man of true honor! Thank you for your service to our country, thank you for serving Her and protecting Her.

Best, most articulate speech I've seen him make. As he put it, "the American people have spoken. Loudly."

Obama is the choice Americans have made. Thank God!
This is only the beginning of a true representation for ALL Americans! And as a bonus, bigots across America are now unable to hide from the fact that they are in a minority group!

Hear, Hear!

Although I always thought that McCain's actions during the campaign were dishonorable and selfish, I am happy to see him act honorably in his concession speech. As I watched that speech live last night, as McCain tried to subdue the angry mob, I couldn't help to not feel sorry for him. He, and his running-mate Sarah Palin, certainly helped to create that monster... now they have to deal with it. With that said, thank you John McCain for doing your part to help reunite this country... not divide it. We cannot fix health-care and the National Debt divided. "United We Stand, Divided We Fall".

I also commend his recognition of how special the election of Barack Obama is. Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, and Native-Americans alike need to judge others by the content of their character. "Don't judge a book by it's cover". However, Barack Obama did not run for President as a blackman; he ran as a voice of reason, peace, and unity... who happened to be black.

Perhaps the best point of John McCain's above speech was when he said "the American people have spoken, loudly". We have spoken: no unnecessary war, no more pig-headed broken foreign-policy. The Military-Industrial Complex, Big-Oil, and special-interest need to pack their crap and get out of Washington. Thank you Barack Obama for returning our great nation to the people. That is how our founding-fathers intended it.

Although Obama will not be sworn-in for 77 days, America's foreign relations have changed over-night. For many, a clean-slate has been slatted. Once again we can be respected and friends with the lands of our fore-fathers. May we work together to face the short-comings of the world.

A majority of Americans have spoken to return the Constitution as the fore-most important document in this country. I encourage the Moms For Sarah Palin to read or re-read it. Millions of Americans have died to preserve it; we own them to take it seriously.

I also encourage you to rethink your position on supporting legislation solely based on your religion. For when you do this, you limit the freedom of others. It is likely that Catholics will be the majority in our lifetimes. It is also possible that a non-Christian faith will be the majority in our children's life time. Remember: What goes around comes around.

"Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness"!

WARNING - the first link by "boig" who gives a cnn link to the concession speech is a VIRUS infested site - I'm now working to get it off - someone please notify the owner of this site of this because I don't know how to!
