CNN controlling the message? Josh at Texas for Sarah Palin posted an article yesterday that was on the CNN website about Tea Party Express leaders and how they would like to get Sarah Palin on board with them. I know many people that went and made great comments about Palin including myself. These comments go to moderation, well this time as with other times, our comments never appear but interestingly enough 99% of the comments that do are negative towards Palin.
I use CNN as only a small example about what is out there in the media.
I have to say I'm so very thankful for the internet. As hard as the left tries to control the message and make it appear that conservatives are the odd man out, they can't do it because of the ability for other people to communicate with people outside of our own circle of friends and family. We find more and more as the main stream media and liberal bloggers shout that only crackpots believe what Fox News says that, we are not alone and that we are not out of our minds.
This now more than ever, is all important because the liberals know that it is human nature to want to fit in and to be a part of a group. Hence the reason they don't argue facts about Sarah Palin but just call her dumb and stupid, by human nature uninformed people will want to naturally conform to the "cool" group, the acceptable group. It's also the reason that the liberal media won't openly and honestly debate the issues and simply want to try to discredit the Tea Party Movement as being teabaggers, (a vile term if there ever was one) to call us ignorant, uneducated rednecks, and more. But there comes a time when your beliefs about what is right and what is true become more important than fitting in with something that goes against the core of what you and your country stand for in this world.
As our movement grows though, more and more people through the means of internet whether it's a local message boards, social networks, blogs and emails, we find that the Tea Party message speaks to common sense and common values of more Americans than that of a socialist leftist agenda.
The best thing, about the left overreaching, is that the infestation is coming into view. The lights have been turned on and the roaches are scattering. The people are seeing what is becoming of our country and are willing to stand up and fight for her no matter the insults they throw our way. The changes of this country that are coming to light didn't happen overnight. It was a slow process of those that worked at it while we went about our daily lives. We believed that voting was our duty and it ended at about that, we trusted those in office that when they swore to defend the Constitution that although we might disagree on certain issues that we all had the same standard belief in what our founding fathers stood for. We find now that, that is not the case and that our government, our societies, and our schools have been infiltrated little by little by people that believe otherwise and swearing on a Bible was to defend our Constitution was just a means to move their radical agendas forward.
It's time to stand up for our country, the military is not the only one that is responsible for our freedoms, every American citizen is. If you believe in The Constitution, if you would like to continue your life as you like it, if you like to have the freedom of choosing where your money goes, what you drive, what you watch on TV, what doctor you go to, what job you have, it's time to get out there, be seen, let your voice be heard. Going out to a Tea Party is a small price to pay compared to the brave revolutionist that fought and died to give us the greatest country on the face of this earth. It's not a time to passively sit on the couch waiting for someone else to do something about it. This is your life, your country and all our children's futures we are fighting for!
At any rate we in the Tea Party Movement will end up in the history books one day. My greatest hope is that we shall overcome and down the road we will be talked about as the patriots that saved what Reagan called "The Shining City on The Hill".
In the beginning of a change, the Patriot is a scarce man, Brave, Hated, and Scorned. When his cause succeeds however, the timid join him, For then it costs nothing to be a Patriot. - Mark Twain

I hope that the above statement is true, but the problem is... Who will be writing those history books? If the liberals have their way, The Tea Party Movement would probably end up as a small footnote and/or more than likely will be described as kooks and wackos.
So far, just this year, the left has decided that returning war veterans, pro-life, pro-2nd Amendment people are all potential "right wing terrorists." They have denegrated the TEA Party, and townhall participants, Carrie Prejean and anyone who believes in the traditional meaning of marriage, and Sarah Palin. In effect, they have decided that at least half the country is the enemy.
exeal, if we do succeed, the history books will be written by someone other than liberals. :o)
Tiffany,
We can only hope.
