In a story from AP, 42yo Sherry Johnston plans to plead guilty for possession with intent to deliver. This is a felony charge involving Oxycontin, a powerful and highly addictive painkiller.
I'm not big on here about getting on my soap box and believe that people do make mistakes and such is life.
BUT... yup here it comes.
Sherry Johnston has some nerve going on talk shows talking about how Bristol Palin won't let her have her grandson more. Now, I'm sure Sherry loves Tripp and would not intentionally do anything to harm him but would you send your newborn baby over to a house where grandma had been busted for drugs??? The talk shows just let her whine about it to make the Palin's look evil without ever calling her on the carpet about the drug charges.

I sure everyone knows that she was arrested and has a pending court case. Most people will weight what she says with that knowledge; no matter how the media tries to distort the truth. Most people realize she is being used to hurt Governor Palin, when Ms Johnston realizes this is unprofitable and her grandchild is more important than the temporary rubber necking curiosity of the 'drive by media'. She and her children will have learned a expensive moral lesson.
I don’t believe this has hurt Governor Palin’s chance at being our first woman President.
