Fred Thompson gives Sarah the OK

In reference to Palin, Thompson said: "She has run a municipality and she has run a state. And I can say without fear of contradiction that she is the only nominee in the history of either party who knows how to properly field dress a moose ... with the possible exception of Teddy Roosevelt."
He was also quoted to say:
"She and John McCain are not going to care how much the alligators get irritated, when they get to Washington they're going to drain that swamp,"
I personally love the last line.
On a side note, my father informed me he thinks she's too extreme and that she will get "booted out". I'm not sure what he meant by that but I told him she wasn't going anywhere because she was going to win McCain waaaaayyy too many votes. Hee Hee.
That was the end of the conversation as my family doesn't talk much politics. Thank God. Because it would probably be a constant fight.
